Demorou um pouco para a Yamaha R7 2021 chegar à Europa, mas o novo modelo de plataforma já está realmente disponível para o ano modelo 2022, cuja base técnica em termos de quadro tubular e bicilíndrico de 689 cc é amplamenteigual ao do MT-07e em grau (ligeiramente) menor o Tracer 7 e o Ténéré 700. A Yamaha muitas vezes finge no seu entusiasmo que este é um modelo completamente novo, mas isso é diferente, na verdade é quase um MT-07 com carenagem de corrida.
Yamaha reivindica modificações no motorem comparação com o MT-07, mas na verdade esse dificilmente é o caso. Segundo os fabricantes, o caminho de admissão e escape são diferentes, mas isso faz tão pouca diferença que a especificação de potência máxima de 73,4 cv (54 kW) e torque máximo de 67 Nm é exatamente a mesma, até o ponto decimal, como o da MT-07. Eles têm "um fator de redução ligeiramente menor do conjunto secundário de rodas dentadas", o que significa um dente a menos na roda dentada traseira; o truque mais inteligente (e mais barato) para obter mais velocidade máxima de qualquer bicicleta, em troca de menos aceleração. O resultado é que o R7 roda bem acima de 200, embora você precise de uma reta muito longa.

Segundo a Yamaha, ele também reforçou o quadro tubular com uma placa de alumínio extra sobre o quadro próximo à suspensão do braço oscilante, mas aquela tampa de alumínio parece ser mais decorativa ali, qualquer efeito de fortalecimento parece mínimo. O R7 obteve um ângulo de cabeça ligeiramente mais nítido de 23,4 em vez de 24,5 com uma braçadeira tripla diferente e (portanto) uma distância entre eixos 5 mm mais curta. O R7 pesa 188 quilos em vez dos 184 do MT07, além de carregar 1 litro a mais de combustível do que os 13 litros do R7. Há também uma suspensão ligeiramente diferente, cilindros de freio Brembo, um subquadro mais alto e clipes em vez de um guidão.
Boas notícias
É uma má notícia que não seja muito diferente da MT-07? Não, certamente não, porque o ponto de partida sempre foi um motor esportivo não muito complicado, com um preço aceitável. Exatamente o que precisamos, depois de anos principalmente de mais computadores e preços bizarros para superesportivas e superbikes. Assim, a Yamaha investiu principalmente na carenagem, garfo dianteiro invertido KYB, pinças de freio AVICS radiais e embreagem assistida e deslizante. Na verdade, tudo o que você gostaria de melhorar ao transformar uma bicicleta de rua em uma bicicleta de trilha. O fato de a Yamaha continuar oferecendo painéis de LCD também faz diferença no preço, mas isso está se tornando uma história um tanto estranha, principalmente porque você quase não vê nada no R7.
Bela aparência
Tudo isso se esconde sob uma aparência muito bem feita, o R7 fica realmente bonito, tanto em azul escuro fosco / azul mais claro quanto na combinação vermelho / branco, a versão preta parece um pouco mais opaca. Parece lógico que também haverá um R7M em um futuro próximo, com ou sem suspensão SP e principalmente com o impressionante esquema de cores cinza / preto, que é usado até para motocicletas de 155cc na Ásia. Mas, mesmo agora, o R7 parece um verdadeiro superesportivo, com a entrada de ar em forma de M, carenagem elegante, iluminação legal e aberturas na parte traseira próximas ao assento. Com certeza você vai impressionar com um R7, onde ninguém precisa saber que ele tem 74 HP.
Klein
A posição sentada é um pouco apertada para pessoas altas. Com 1,86 m, parece que seus joelhos estão puxados para cima e próximos a você nos clipes colocados internamente. O espaço atrás da janela também só pode ser totalmente utilizado se você deslizar totalmente para trás. Essa janela também é muito boa, não tão pequena quanto no R1 e, portanto, ótima para deitar com o capacete no tanque atrás. Depois de se acostumar com a posição sentada, tudo é realmente muito simples: acelerar, frear, trocar de marcha, é tudo o que você precisa fazer; apenas aproveite o motociclismo sem ter que configurar todos os tipos de eletrônicos primeiro.
Rua
Na rua, o R7 é uma máquina muito bonita, com aquele bloco de motor maravilhoso como já o conhecemos há algum tempo. Perfeitamente na parte inferior das rotações mais baixas, puxando-o com força de cerca de 5000 rpm e, em seguida, em uma linha para a área vermelha no conta-rotações. Além disso, você sente vibrações no volante em baixas rotações e nas scooters em altas rotações, mas isso não é muito forte.
O garfo dianteiro carece de amortecimento, o que causa bastante movimento, principalmente na frenagem. Fica um pouco melhor com mais amortecimento de compressão na perna esquerda do garfo e amortecimento de retorno à direita, mas ainda dá alguma inquietação ao frear. Em termos de conforto, a suspensão é boa e mantém a Yamaha muito estável, mesmo em curvas longas e contínuas. Os freios carecem de alguma mordida inicial, mas freiam bem depois e as mudanças também são suaves e organizadas. O R7 é um carenagem MT-07, e é assim que ele dirige: gerenciável, mas ágil, previsível, mas emocionante; o 'CP2' continua sendo uma fórmula milagrosa.
O circuito
Na pista, o R7 também se mostra muito fácil de manusear. Claro, 74 HP não é muito, mas torna divertido ir o mais rápido possível em uma pista desafiadora como o Circuito da Andaluzia. Nas configurações do circuito, o garfo dianteiro de repente ficou extremamente melhor, até pedimos para ter certeza se o interior é padrão, é assim que a suspensão agora se encaixa bem em sua tarefa no asfalto apertado. Os freios também se destacam, porque você não aborda as curvas com tanta força. A característica mais importante do R7 é que parece que tudo é possível. Virar tarde, virar cedo, manter linhas apertadas, corrigir nas curvas, acelerar completamente cada vez mais cedo: tudo é possível. O (infelizmente) câmbio rápido opcional funciona bem, mas o blipper ausente também tornaria a redução de marcha ainda mais divertida. Parabéns também aos pneus Bridgestone R11, que fornecem muito mais aderência do que você realmente precisa.

Em um circuito como a Andaluzia é muito divertido com o R7, embora em circuitos 'grandes' como (por exemplo) o Circuito TT em Assen você notará que superesportivas e superbikes reais são muito mais rápidas, especialmente em termos de aceleração. Isso não altera o fato de que você pode aprender muito nesta supertwin, onde você também tem uma bela e prática bicicleta de rua. Além disso, além da Kawasaki Ninja 650 mais voltada para o turismo, agora aparecem a CBR650R, a Suzuki SV650, esta mais esportiva Yamaha R7 e também a Aprilia RS660 e uma Triumph 660, deixando claro que os Supergêmeos podem se tornar uma classe popular. Ou então, a Yamaha Motor Benelux promete lançar uma Copa R7 em 2023!
Conclusão
Por menos de 10.000 euros, esta seria realmente a motocicleta ideal para jovens motociclistas esportivos, mas infelizmente a Yamaha supera a da Holanda em 300 euros, mais 160 euros para o câmbio rápido. Além disso; a Yamaha R7 2021 é basicamente uma MT-07 com clipons e carenagem, mas isso a torna uma supertwin muito divertida, acessível e descomplicada, e esse era exatamente o ponto. Não é absolutamente a superesportiva como a conhecemos até agora, mas é uma moto esportiva versátil com um belo motor, excelente equipamento, excelentes características de direção e, acima de tudo, uma bela aparência superesportiva.
