Is Vodafone GigaCube worth it? ›

Verdict: The Vodafone GigaCube is a top mobile broadband device no matter which version you choose, with both being among the best of their category. But the 5G model is the clear winner if you have Vodafone 5G coverage.

The GigaCube was officially launched on 15^th July by Vodafone, after their 5G network launch on 3^rd July. The device will enable businesses to bring the 5G network to them. The Huawei B1818 device is said to deliver speeds up to 1Gbps on up to 64 devices simultaneously within a 90-metre range.

Your Vodafone SIM card is a NAT type 3 (Strict) to protect your information behind a firewall and cannot be changed. This restricts the Playstation/Xbox servers from being able to connect to the GigaCube as they need NAT type 1 or 2.

A Gigacube can't be unlocked @kjohnr2001 , it is a Vodafone device and can only be used at the approved registered address.
